Description

HELPS PROTECT DOGS 6 WEEKS OF AGE OR OLDER AGAINST CD VIRUS, CAV-1, CAV-2, CPiV, CCV, CPV AND CPV-2C

Help your dog live a healthier life by keeping them updated on the vaccines they need to prevent serious diseases.

  • VANGUARD Plus 5/CV vaccines help protect puppies against parvoviral enteritis.
  • The CAV-2 component in VANGUARD Plus 5/CV vaccines cross-immunizes against CAV type 1 to help protect dogs against ICH without producing post-vaccination side effects—including persistent kidney infections, uveitis and corneal opacity (blue eye)—sometimes attributed to CAV-1 containing vaccines.
  • Demonstrated performance of the viral antigens based on retrospective serological studies.1
  • Customer-friendly packaging includes peel-off labels to make record-keeping faster and more accurate, a color-coded organizing system, and an easy-open safety band.
  • VANGUARD Plus 5/CV is supported by our Companion Animal Immunization Support Guarantee (ISG).

Directions: Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine (Vanguard Plus 5) with the accompanying vial of liquid vaccine (Vanguard CV), shake well, and administer 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older should receive 3 doses, each administered 3 weeks apart. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Duration of immunity has not been established.
